Who We Are

A fixture on the 'net since March 4th, 2003, Way Out There Radio is the result of countless hours of drinking caffeinated drinks, discussing ideas that went nowhere, and the drive and passion of Internet DJ's who came from other great internet radio stations with the goal of creating a station without politics and drama, where they could share their love of music online with others without being saddled with yet another "job".

The first internet radio station in the virtual world,There, Way Out There Radio has gone on to entice listeners from other online environments as well as from traditional brick and mortar operations.  Live Internet Radio without limits, without drama, and often without taste - WOTR.

At the beginning of April 2004, The torch was passed and WOTR changed owners. Kysses and Kershoc, DJs in the early days of WOTR took on the responsibility of hosting the internet radio station as well as the day to day operations. Not much else has changed, the Programming Philosophy that founded the station still remains to this day!

I've listened to many internet radio stations before but none held my attention for very long, until WOTR. The awesome camaraderie of the DJs as well as the great tunes they spin kept me coming back for more. Tune in WOTR for an eargasm!!! ~~ Angel, NY

Our Programming Philosophy

Our goal is to provide our listeners the best Internet Radio packaged in such a way that they don't rush for the bathroom to hurl their lunch.  What's our format?  Our format is FUN.  None of us take this too seriously, we are all keeping our day jobs (yes, some of you are very happy with that decision) and we enjoy playing the game "There" as much as we like serving up your listening needs.  We're here to have fun - and if you're here, then you must be doing the same thing.  This is Internet Radio at its finest and worst - we don't necessarily censor our music - if profanity in music (or crappy music, for that matter) offends you, please don't tune in - You have been warned!!
